Follow on milk is a formula specifically tailored to complement a weaning diet from 6 to 12 months of age. Around six months the iron stores a baby was born with start to deplete so iron must be obtained from the diet. This follow on milk contains iron, which supports normal cognitive development and contains Vitamin D which supports the normal function of the immune system.

Breastfeeding is best. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months.
