Nutriprem is Aptamil's specialist formula range designed for premature or low birth weight infants. It provides the additional nutritional support that preterm babies need during their critical early weeks and months of development. It should only be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of the feeding options available including breastfeeding.
Nutriprem 1 is designed for use in hospital for very premature or low birth weight infants who require intensive early nutritional support. Nutriprem 2 Post Discharge Formula is designed for premature babies after hospital discharge, to support continued catch-up growth at home. Both must be used under the supervision of a Healthcare Professional or neonatal care team, who will advise the most appropriate product for your baby.
Yes. Specialist formulas like Nutriprem often have different mixing instructions from standard formulas. It is important to carefully read and follow the instructions on the pack, as using a different preparation method may affect the product's ability to mix effectively. This product is available via prescription only, please speak to your Health Care professional.
