How to prepare Aptamil® Toddler Milk
Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow preparation and storage instructions may make your toddler ill.
Updated oil blend in Aptamil Toddler Milk
As has been widely reported, the war in Ukraine has resulted in global ingredient shortages – including sunflower oil. Since these shortages began, many food and drinks companies have been reducing sunflower oil in their recipes or replacing it with alternative oils. Aptamil Toddler Formula Milk powder has recently updated its recipe, reducing sunflower oil and adding fully refined soybean oil to ensure the overall fatty acid profile of the recipe remains the same.
To ensure that this product will be available to you without disruption, we have updated the oil blend in our Aptamil Toddler Formula Milk powders, but we haven’t been able to update the ingredient list on the label just yet. We have made the update on our website so consumers can see the updated ingredient list. You will be able to identify the updated product by checking the best before date on pack. The updated version of the label will come to the market early next year with the updated oil blend on the ingredient list, making it easier to identify.

Important notice
Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. We advise that all formula milks including the decision to start weaning should be made on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care, based on baby’s individual needs.
Do not use if your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk allergy.
