Aptamil Advanced frequently asked questions
Once prepared, Aptamil Toddler Milk 1 should be used within 2 hours. Any leftover milk after this time should be discarded.
We do not recommend freezing Aptamil Toddler Milk 1.
We source whey and lactose from a variety of suppliers some of which use vegetarian rennet while others use the traditional source of rennet, which is sourced from cows. Therefore we cannot guarantee that all the whey and lactose produced is from a vegetarian source. Also, our Vitamin D3 is derived from sheep wool.
Aptamil Toddler Milk 1 can be used as a nutritious milk drink for toddlers aged 12-24 months, as an alternative or addition to cow's milk. It is specifically formulated with vitamins and minerals to support toddler growth and development. If you are considering using it as your toddler's main drink, consult your Healthcare Professional for personalised advice.

Important notice
Breastfeeding is best. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. We advise that the use of formula milks and the decision to start weaning should be made only on the advice of a doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care based on baby’s individual needs
