Is the new Aptamil formula milk safe and tested?

Please be assured that the quality and safety of our products is our number one priority. We are updating part of our Aptamil range as the legislation that sets requirements for the nutritional composition for infant, follow on formulas and specialist milks is changing.

The key purpose of the legislation is to ensure that all baby milks and specialist milks provide the appropriate nutrition and are safe for use. These regulation changes are based on the latest scientific evidence in infant nutrition.

One of the changes is the mandatory inclusion of DHA. DHA (Omega-3 LCPs) has been recommended by the European Food Safety Authority for use in infant formulations and is safe. All our updated formulations also comply with EU regulation which ensures formulations are suitable and safe for babies.
